Encouraging our clients to use the WIGL token in the app helps support WIGL's price and increases the potential number of transactions (purchases, transfers, vault deposits, etc.) on which we take admittedly low fees, but on a larger volume. We also want to encourage and reward clients who join the adventure early. Indeed, the amount of WIGL required to move up tiers increases every six months! You'll therefore need to hold much more WIGL in the future to enjoy the same benefits.
The amount of WIGL you’ll need to hold to reach each grade will increase over time.
However, if you’re among the first users to reach a certain grade, you’ll be able to keep the associated benefits without having to meet the new thresholds required for newcomers. It’s a way to reward those who get in early.
However, if the amount of WIGL in your wallet drops below the threshold you had reached, you’ll lose that benefit. To regain your grade, you’ll need to adjust your WIGL balance to match the new threshold in effect.
To get the maximum cashback rate on your card purchases, you need to reach Grade 3, which is available with the Premium plan. The lowest available price for the Premium plan is €10.11 per month, when paid annually (–15%) and in WIGL (an additional –15%).
You also need to account for the cost of acquiring WIGL tokens on your account. wigl which you need to hold in order to reach Grade 3. Learn more about Grades and their evolving thresholds
